Hardlife Excavator Riddle Buckets are designed and built in the UK to perform reliably in the harshest site conditions. Now manufactured using HB450 abrasion-resistant steel, they deliver increased durability, longer service life, and reduced wear when working with abrasive materials.

Designed for screening, sorting, and separating soil, stone, rubble, and demolition waste, these riddle buckets are a solid choice for groundworks, landscaping, recycling, and plant hire applications. Each bucket is finished to order to suit your exact excavator make and model – simply specify your hitch or linkage requirements using the form above.

This 10–14 tonne excavator riddle bucket is 1200mm wide and supplied as standard with 80mm bar spacing, making it ideal for high-output screening and material separation. Alternative bucket widths, bar spacings, and bespoke configurations are available on request to match your application.

Built from HB450 wear-resistant steel, Hardlife riddle buckets are engineered for strength where it counts and long-term performance in demanding working environments.

Front Side Cutter

Reinforced leading side wear strip produced from S355 structural steel.

CAT Toothsystem

CAT-J tooth system is used on most riddle buckets in the Hardlife Range.

Anti-Abrasion Strap

Provides resistance to wear and tear.

Corner Link Supports

All Hardlife riddle buckets are reinforced on the corners to counteract any twisting or sideways forces occurring when in use.

Riddle buckets, also known as skeleton buckets or shaker buckets, are popular tools for sorting rock, soil and rubble. Our excavator riddle buckets have been designed to ensure they will perform in the very toughest of operating environments. Each of our riddle buckets comes with standard width gap and are finished to order with the correct link for all makes and models of excavators. Customisation for special gap openings available on request.  Riddle buckets are available in sizes to suit 1.5 to 50 tonne machines.
