Every Hardlife GP digging bucket is manufactured using HB450 abrasion-resistant steel, chosen for its lower carbon content, high heat treatment, and exceptional tensile strength. The result is a bucket that’s tougher, more wear-resistant, and less prone to cracking under heavy or repeated use – even in demanding ground conditions.

Available in a wide range of widths, our GP buckets are suited to everything from narrow trenching for drainage or services, through to footings and bulk excavation. Our digging buckets are general purpose buckets built for everyday use. From narrow trenching buckets to larger bulk buckets, all our digging buckets are fitted with an HB400 abrasion resistant (AR) cutting edge, thickened side edges and wear strips to protect and strengthen the bucket floor. Bolt-on teeth come as standard, whilst blades / bolt-on edges can also be fitted.

We're often asked for narrower buckets for laying fiber cable or water pipes, for example, as operators want to make narrow channels with minimal ground disturbance. For these purposes we'd suggest using our drain buckets, which are tapered from top to bottom, preventing  the quick coupler from hitting the ground and bottoming out the digging depth potential.

Double Radius Curve

Double-radius wrap design minimizes drag for smoother digging, faster cycles, and longer bucket life.

Wear Strips

All of our digging buckets come with wear strips stitched to the base of the bucket to increase longevity and improve the rigidity to the bucket. Stitch welds make them easy to cut off and replace should they ever wear out.

HB450 Abrasion Resistant Cutting Edge

Fitted as standard, an abrasion resistant cutting edge optimises bucket edge duration and minimises the risk of steel fractures!

JCB Bolt on Teeth

JCB style bolt-on tooth systems. The side teeth extend upwards to provide wear protection to the side plate.

Different Linkages Available
