Our GD Buckets are lightweight, purpose-built tools designed for optimal performance with tilt-rotators. A staple on Scandinavian machines and similar to the UK’s ditch grading bucket, the GD bucket offers an efficient and versatile solution for grading tasks. The long flat base ensures cleaner grading results, while the tapered side plates and cut-back corners allow operators to get close to objects without the risk of the edges catching during rotation.

The GD grading bucket is one of the few designs fine-tuned for tilt-rotator use. Since tilt-rotators were introduced in the late 1980s, operators have refined the original ditch cleaning bucket design, resulting in a narrower width, extended mouth, sharp angles, and cut-away back corners. These improvements make the bucket ideal for a wide range of tasks, from basic digging and backfilling to more complex shaping and finishing, improving both ease and efficiency.

Despite tilt-rotators being relatively heavy, we’ve carefully optimized the steel thicknesses and stress-tested the design to strike the perfect balance between structural strength and weight. To prevent dragging side plates and ensure smooth grading, full-width wear strips are stitched onto the base of each bucket, eliminating the common issue of leaving lines behind during operation.
